Job summary

POET in Cloverdale, IN is seeking a Plant Technician to operate and maintain all plant processing equipment in a highly automated facility and to support safe, efficient bioprocessing operations.

You will run the DCS, perform basic electrical troubleshooting, collect QA/QC samples, document results, and follow SOPs. The role requires 12-hour shifts and a strong commitment to safety and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a production environment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with standard software systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant processes and DCS safely.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs.
• Collect and test QA/QC samples and document results.
• Maintain logs and assist with start-up/shutdown procedures.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines.
