POET is seeking a Plant Technician for its Menlo, IA facility to operate and maintain automated processing equipment. You will follow SOPs, perform routine maintenance, and document activities in a highly automated bioprocessing environment.

You’ll operate the DCS, collect QA/QC samples, and log results, while supporting safety and quality goals. This 12-hour shift role emphasizes teamwork and reliable performance.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a production environment preferred for Plant Technician I/II/III.
• Strong troubleshooting and basic electrical ability is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain all plant processing equipment and document activities.
• Perform maintenance and basic repairs of plant equipment and record results.
• Operate the DCS and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Follow SOPs for start-up, shut-down, cleaning and batching.
• Collect QA/QC samples, interpret results, and log data in PI.
• Support safety, environmental, quality and production objectives.
