Description

The Plant Supervisor will monitor all production operations and resources to achieve customer satisfaction with respect to core value, quality, and on-time deliveries. This position will assist in achieving innovative productivity, economic goals, safety policies, quality controls, and all other production-related activities. The right person will need to be interactive with the entire team and be on the floor at any given moment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of plant operations.
• Work collaboratively with the Plant Manager and team members.
• Have a customer service background to work effectively with builders.
• Coordinate plant activities.
• Communicate and delegate job expectations and duties to associates.
• Monitor daily production and understand equipment functions in emergencies.
• Ensure all Quality Assurance and Safety policies are enforced and followed.
• Coach, counsel, and discipline employees as necessary.
• Revise schedules, resolve problems, and report on production flow.
• Track and maintain inventory.
• Schedule inbound and outbound freight.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a production environment.
• Maintenance background preferred.
