Ag Processing Inc is seeking a shift supervisor for our refinery in St. Joseph, MO. You will support day-to-day operations, provide training to employees, enforce policies, and ensure quality standards are met across the plant.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising employees through training.

• Five years or equivalent in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain processing supply inventory and document amounts on hand.

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is currently hiring for a shift supervisor at our refinery in St. Joseph, MO. The person in this role will assist with the day-to-day operations through providing management support throughout the plant. The shift supervisor will also assist with training employees, enforcing company policies and procedures, and will ensure that quality standards are being met.

Requirements

• Experience in supervising employees through training and motivating.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using computers and other office equipment.
• Capable of sound decision making.
• Great team player and takes initiative.
• Mechanically savvy
• Safety conscientious.
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
• Capable of working with diverse group of individuals.
• Knowledge of hazard communication standards and PSM, preferred.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
• Five years or equivalent in related field is preferred.
• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent is required. Technical degree is preferred.
