Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety science, safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, occupational health, engineering or other industrial discipline.
• Equivalent work experience of 1–3 years in an Industrial/Manufacturing Environment.
• Certifications such as CSP, ASP or GSP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in plant safety meetings with management.
• Implement and maintain SDS manuals for site and office.
• Train employees in SDS procedures and safety practices.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA and NFPA compliance and best practices.
• Develop corrective/preventative actions and verify implementation.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections and maintain training records.
