Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers is looking for an Environmental & Safety Coordinator I to join our Belén, NM team. In this role you will ensure compliance with federal, state, county & local safety regulations, and proactively lead the company’s safety program to maintain a safe, healthy workplace.

This position reports to the Safety Manager. The role includes planning and leading plant safety meetings, training supervisors, tracking safety metrics, developing safe operating techniques, onboarding, SDS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety science or related field required.
• 1+ years of safety experience preferred in operational/plant settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and safety management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and participate in plant safety meetings with management.
• Assist in training supervisors to run safety meetings independently.
• Review and update monthly plant safety metrics and reports.
• Develop safe operating techniques and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Lead safety onboarding for employees and subcontractors to ensure safe scope execution.
• Maintain SDS program and train employees on SDS procedures.
• Support ESG and safety initiatives and related reporting.
