Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers in Belen, NM is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator I to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations. You will plan, direct, and implement the company’s safety program to maintain a safe, healthy, and injury-free workplace.

Reports to the Safety Manager. You’ll lead plant safety meetings, train supervisors, review safety metrics, develop safe operating procedures with maintenance, onboard employees and subcontractors, and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field.
• 1+ years operational/manufacturing safety experience preferred.
• Certifications CPS/CIH/ASP/GSP preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead plant safety meetings with management.
• Train supervisors to run safety meetings.
• Review monthly plant safety metrics.
• Develop safe operating techniques in partnership with maintenance.
• Lead safety onboarding for employees and contractors.
• Ensure SDS program and PPE requirements compliance.
• Maintain site-specific safety and disaster plans and train staff.
• Coordinate corrective actions and incident documentation.
