Novelis Terre Haute seeks an Associate Team Leader EMRA to optimize plant utilities (Air, Gas, Water, Electricity) and manage building structures. Lead the Carpenter Shop, Machine Shop, Outside Maintenance and Truck Shop, driving reliability and safety across projects and changes.

The role emphasizes engineering leadership, RCFA involvement, training coordination, and mentoring team members while ensuring ISO and safety standards are met and budgets are controlled.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology or related field from an accredited university.
• 5 years of heavy industrial work experience and/or maintenance leadership.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) skills; ability to collaborate with all levels in the organization
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize responsibility; able to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead and develop other personnel to accomplish objectives; experience with CMMS/SAP.
• Project management experience, budgeting, scheduling, coordinating contractors, and execution.

Mansioni

• Monitor area for opportunities to improve equipment and process safety, per regulations.
• React to remove safety detractors via SWOs, incident reports and communications.
• Ensure engineering work meets standards such as NEC, NFPA, ISO, OSHA, EPA, UL.
• Lead the plant's Fleet management as MEP SME; share guidance.
• Identify extended education needs to support knowledge and skills growth.
• Provide coaching and mentoring in Engineering Excellence where possible.
• Advise on asset lifecycle and recommend changes to sustain business plan.
• Oversee capital plans and project execution within budget and schedule.
