Job summary

Novelis Davenport is seeking an EMRA Leader to steer reliability and maintenance planning strategies that enhance asset availability, equipment performance, and operational efficiency. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and others to drive reliability initiatives and develop long-term asset strategies.

The role requires leading a team focused on PM and PdM program optimization, RCFA, and continuous improvement while ensuring safe plant operations and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing improvement processes and projects.
• Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance and ability to facilitate investigations and develop mitigation plans to address findings.
• Experience with maintenance best processes such as shutdown planning and execution, preventive maintenance, and precision maintenance techniques.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (i.e., vibration & oil analysis, thermography, ultrasound.)
• Knowledge and experience with Process Control.
• Experience with proactive reliability tools and Root-Cause-Analysis methodology.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Experience fixing equipment issues and analyzing production loss and reliability data.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to implement cost-effective preventive and predictive asset strategies for best-in-class availability.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering and other partners to drive improved asset availability.
• Lead data capture for analysis and trending to establish equipment health and identify improvement opportunities.
• Establish and publish Reliability KPIs to measure and improve asset performance.
• Develop 1-year and 3-year Reliability Tactical Plans to improve availability and performance.
• Support maintenance in multi-year replacement and overhaul plans.
• Coordinate RCFA for significant failures and drive preventive actions.
• Ensure alignment with safety guidelines and government regulations.
