Job summary

Novelis Greensboro is seeking an EMRA Leader to provide strategic leadership for engineering, maintenance, reliability, and asset management initiatives. You will drive safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while guiding a high-performing engineering and reliability organization.

The role emphasizes developing long-term capital and reliability strategies, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring staff to enhance plant performance and asset care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical, Controls, Automation or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering leadership/management experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard software tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and project management tools.
• Knowledge of rolling theory and related process fundamentals.
• Ability to write specifications and coordinate bids.

Responsibilities

• Direct EMRA Organization to implement safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure engineering design meets standards such as NEC, NFPA, ISO, OSHA, EPA, UL.
• Support BBS process and mentor EMRA team.
• Lead reliability initiatives and develop Facility Reliability Master Plan.
• Coordinate PM/PdM activities and ensure funding and timely execution.
• Engage with operators and maintenance to optimize PM/PdM for processes.
