Job summary

Novelis Terre Haute, Indiana seeks a dynamic Sr. Maintenance Leader to direct the electrical and mechanical maintenance workforce.

You will optimize plant reliability across pneumatic, hydraulic, cooling, roll, bearing, crane, and structural systems, lead preventive/predictive programs, and coordinate troubleshooting with the maintenance team. You will drive safe operations, align with plant goals, and reinforce ISO-based standards while mentoring technicians and coordinating with

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited university or institution.
• 5 years of heavy industrial work experience and/or maintenance leadership experience.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) skills; ability to collaborate with all levels in the organization.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize responsibility; balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using CMMS, preferably SAP.
• Project management, budget management, scheduling, coordinating contractors, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen personal and workforce capabilities to drive continuous process improvement.
• Support machine centers by optimizing workforce scheduling and maintenance effectiveness.
• Provide leadership for machine-center improvement activities, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Collaborate with operators, mechanics, electricians, planners, engineers to improve preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Ensure reliability principles are included in projects and process-optimization activities.
• Coordinate Root Cause Failure Analyses with the reliability organization and implement corrective actions.
• Develop training and documentation for new projects and asset modifications.
• Identify process improvements and technologies to improve product quality, lead times, costs, and safety.
