Job summary

Kroger Manufacturing in California is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the effective execution of maintenance and projects across the plant and external properties, focusing on Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) and our Customer 1st strategy.

You will supervise and coach direct reports, develop manpower plans for major overhauls, coordinate with planning and purchasing, and administer the CMMS-based maintenance program to improve equipment performance and stock optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 2+ years direct maintenance supervisory experience in the food industry.
• Knowledge of GMP, EPA and OSHA requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient Microsoft Office and CMMS skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall plans, including manpower, for major maintenance overhauls, shutdowns and projects.
• Support the development, control and tracking of maintenance budgets.
• Coordinate with planning/scheduling, inventory control and maintenance purchasing teams for repairs, schedules and meetings.
• Administer the PPM program and parts room inventory through CMMS.
• Perform engineering analyses to determine root cause of equipment failures.
