Job summary

Kroger Manufacturing in Colorado is seeking a Plant Maintenance Supervisor to lead the execution of maintenance activities and projects across the facility. You will oversee safety, quality and reliability improvements while guiding a team of technicians and contractors to maintain production efficiency.

Responsibilities include directing preventive maintenance, ensuring regulatory compliance (OSHA/GMP), and driving continuous improvement through CMMS data and downtime analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or 5 years of progressive maintenance supervision.
• Experience in the food industry dealing with preventative/predictive maintenance process, technical guidance and development of the maintenance work force.
• Functional knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and CMMS.
• Proven leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical ability
• Knowledge of Food Safety Principles, GMP, and EPA/OSHA requirements

Responsibilities

• Plant maintenance supervisor- Ensure a safe, efficient and effective use of all supervised craft resources
• Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
• Ensure compliance to OSHA, EPA, GMP, and FDA regulations
• Direct mechanics in maintenance work including quality, duration, cost and thoroughness
• Assign and inspect all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) work orders; refine labor, materials, methods and priorities
• Identify and track skills training and development needs of team members
• Ensure good housekeeping and safe work practices throughout the facility
• Provide support and leadership in troubleshooting equipment
• Ensure all labor, parts and work are reported daily through CMMS
• Follow programs to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements
• Accountable to Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles
