Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree or certificate in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience managing a maintenance staff.
• Basic equipment maintenance knowledge: electrical, plumbing and large machinery required.
• Experience with safety initiatives, planning, budgeting and vendor management.
• Ability to read maintenance literature.
• Experience with maintenance management systems; Manager Plus preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safety - Create and support a culture of adherence to corporate standardization in support of production, financial and safety goals.
• Maintenance Management - Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and visually audit plant performance.
• Set and establish maintenance schedules to ensure timely equipment operation without production disruption.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines for preventive maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Proactively intervene when issues are found and seek efficient resolutions.
• Communicate with market center management on resolution activities and timing.
• Perform needed repairs safely to restore equipment or facility to operating condition.
• Oversee and coordinate new equipment installation or removal where applicable.
