Job summary

National Metalwares is seeking a Plant Reliability & Facilities Supervisor to lead a multi-skilled maintenance and tool room team. You will drive the preventive maintenance program, oversee safety compliance, and manage projects, contracts, and coordination with utilities and environmental agencies.

Based in Aurora, IL, this in-person role requires strong leadership and technical knowledge to keep equipment and facilities operating reliably.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multi-skilled maintenance or facilities team.
• Strong background in preventive maintenance programs and reliability improvement.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and resource allocation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Maintenance Department and Tool Room personnel.
• Plan, assign, and direct daily maintenance work and priorities.
• Lead preventive maintenance scheduling and verification of tasks.
• Ensure hazardous waste handling and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee projects, RFPs, contracts, and vendor coordination.
• Support space planning and communications services for operations.
• Provide hands-on support for maintenance activities as needed.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate technicians; address performance issues.
