Job summary

CertainTeed, a Saint-Gobain company, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to enhance plant reliability using World Class Manufacturing techniques. You will support maintenance teams and TPM initiatives to improve uptime and safety.

Based at the Moundsville Proctor WV plant, you will plan and execute maintenance activities, perform root cause analyses, and ensure CMMS records meet WCM standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven maintenance engineering experience with a focus on reliability.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on maintenance or engineering experience.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assess equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance initiatives to minimize downtime and improve safety.
• Plan, evaluate, and implement maintenance and repair activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and reliability enhancements.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes.
• Develop preventive maintenance strategies with maintenance teams.
• Document work and ensure CMMS records meet WCM/EEM standards.
