Job summary

CertainTeed Gypsum Plant in Proctor, West Virginia is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to enhance plant reliability using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) techniques. You will lead maintenance initiatives, perform root-cause analysis, and support TPM efforts across teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and hands-on experience with maintenance, blueprints, and CMMS records. Join a Saint-Gobain subsidiary focused on building products and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on maintenance/engineering experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills required.
• Experience with CMMS and blueprints/schematics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable reliability improvements.
• Develop preventive maintenance strategies and support TPM efforts.
• Ensure projects comply with WCM/EEM standards and maintain CMMS records.
