Job summary

CertainTeed is seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Manager for a high-volume manufacturing plant. You will lead the engineering and maintenance function, drive World Class Manufacturing maintenance strategies, and develop strong teams to support 24/7 operations and safety, quality, and business objectives.

You will partner with Production, EHS, Quality, and Corporate Engineering to improve asset performance, manage capital projects, and sustain continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
• 7+ years in industrial manufacturing with progression in maintenance/reliability/engineering.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience with preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance systems.
• Proven RCA and sustainable corrective actions.
• Experience managing capital and non-capital engineering projects.
• Working knowledge of CMMS, planning/scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and maintenance activities with a strong safety focus.
• Drive World Class Manufacturing maintenance strategies and asset reliability.
• Lead capital and non-capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Provide leadership to engineers, supervisors, planners, and technical staff.
• Manage budgets, CAPEX, spare parts, and operating costs.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, and Corporate Engineering.
