Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager in Marblehead Agg OH to oversee daily plant operations.

You will report to the Plant Manager, prepare operation schedules, and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality meet client specifications. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience, with a focus in Mining, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Field of Study preferred: Mining, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper use of PPE including respirators; fit tests required by law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operation schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production and quality specifications.
• Manage subordinate staff in day-to-day performance.
• Ensure milestones, goals and budgets are met.
• Promote a culture of high performance and customer satisfaction.
• Drive financial performance via monthly operation forecast.
• Lead on-site operations daily and implement maintenance, production, and shipping best practices.
• Collaborate with peer plant managers to optimize costs and processes.
• Support safety and environmental policies across all work areas.

Education

Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience
