Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to lead on-site operations at Marblehead Agg OH. You will prepare operation schedules, coordinate manufacturing activities, and ensure production and quality meet client specs.

You will manage staff daily, meet milestones, and maintain budgets while driving safety and continuous improvement. As part of the leadership team, you will support the Plant Manager, drive financial performance, and balance inventory with sales needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
• Field of Study Preferred: Mining, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Prepare operation schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality meet client specifications.
• Manage subordinate staff in day-to-day performance of their jobs.
• Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
• Promote a culture of performance and exceeding expected results.
• FIll in for Plant Manager during Plant Manager’s absence and support leadership on site.
• Drive and track financial performance via monthly operation forecast.
• Balance inventory and sales needs to manage and minimize working capital impact.
• Drive quality for customer retention and meet delivery timelines.
• Develop best practices with peer plant managers to optimize costs and processes.
• Lead on a daily basis on site operations and ensure safety policies.
• Follow HR cycle processes and development plans; promote safety culture.
