Job summary

Arcosa Crushed Concrete in Hutchins, GA is seeking dependable labor candidates to support plant operations. The role involves daily maintenance, safety compliance, and assisting with crushing, conveying, and cleanup tasks at the site.

You will work outdoors in varied weather, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. A minimum age of 18, good communication, and willingness to learn are required; overtime and weekend work may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety policies and OSHA/environmental regulations; inspects workplace daily and reports deficiencies.
• Performs daily maintenance inspections to ensure safe, reliable operations and maximize production.
• Maintains a clean, orderly work area and reports safety or maintenance issues.
• Performs lifting, pulling, carrying and other manual labor to operate equipment for crushing concrete and removing debris.
• Performs plant repairs and maintenance including screen changes, conveyor belt work, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, and water pump service.
• Assists with plant operations including cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials; ensures misters operate to minimize dust.
• Willing to cross-train and perform other jobs as needed to meet productivity goals.
• Performs other duties as required.
