Job summary

Arcosa Crushed Concrete is seeking a capable maintenance/production worker to join our Texas plant. You will perform daily inspections, operate equipment to crush concrete, and remove rebar and debris while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and environmental compliance.

The role requires physical capability, willingness to work overtime, and the ability to stand for long periods. We offer weekly pay, competitive hourly wages, and benefits including health, dental, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Some experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety policies and environmental/OSHA regulations daily; inspects workplace and reports deficiencies.
• Performs daily maintenance inspections of plant and equipment to maximize production and minimize downtime.
• Keeps a clean and orderly work area; monitors site and reports safety or maintenance issues.
• Performs manual labor such as lifting, pulling, carrying to operate equipment removing rebar and debris during production.
• Repairs and maintains plant equipment including screen changes, belt repair, wear parts replacement, liner changes, and water pump service.
• Assists with plant operations including cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials; ensures misters control dust levels.
