Job summary

Arcosa Crushed Concrete in Texas is seeking a hardworking team member to support plant operations and safety. You will perform daily maintenance inspections, report deficiencies, and assist in operating equipment used to crush concrete and remove rebar.

Responsibilities include keeping a clean work area, reporting safety or maintenance issues, and assisting with various plant tasks. Overtime and outdoor work in all weather are expected; willingness to cross-train is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Some experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety policies and environmental/OSHA regulations; inspects workplace daily and reports deficiencies.
• Performs daily maintenance inspections to ensure safe, reliable operations and maximize production.
• Maintains a clean, orderly work area and reports safety or maintenance issues.
• Performs lifting, pulling, carrying and other manual labor to operate equipment for crushing concrete and removing rebar and debris.
• Repairs and maintains plant equipment, including screen changes, conveyor belt repair, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, and water pump service.
• Performs various tasks to support plant operation, including cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials; ensures misters operate to minimize dust.
• Willing to cross-train and safely perform other jobs as needed to achieve productivity.
• Performs any other duties as required.
