Job summary

Arcosa Crushed Concrete is seeking a dependable team member to support daily plant operations and ensure safety and efficiency. You will perform maintenance, assist with crushing concrete, and help keep the work area clean and compliant with regulations.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, outdoor work in all weather conditions, and willingness to work overtime as needed. Previous experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Some experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety policies and environmental/OSHA regulations; inspects workplace daily and reports deficiencies to supervisor
• Performs daily maintenance inspections of plant and equipment to maximize production and minimize downtime
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and monitors site for safety or maintenance issues
• Performs lifting, pulling, carrying and other manual labor to operate equipment that crushes concrete and removes rebar and debris
• Performs repairs and maintenance including screen changes, belt repair/adjustment, wear parts replacement, liner changes, and water pump service
• Assists with plant operations including cleaning, washing, sweeping and shoveling materials; ensures misters operate to minimize dust
• Willing to cross-train and perform other jobs as needed to meet productivity goals
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
