Job summary

Arcosa Crushed Concrete in Texas is seeking a hands-on laborer to support plant operations, perform daily maintenance, and ensure safety and efficiency on site. The role involves outdoor work, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for long periods while operating crushing equipment.

Qualifications

• Some experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and OSHA/TCEQ regulations, inspect daily and report deficiencies.
• Perform daily plant and equipment maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Keep work area clean and monitor for safety or maintenance issues.
• Perform lifting, pulling, carrying and other manual tasks to operate crushing and debris removal equipment.
• Assist with repairs and maintenance: screen changes, belt repairs, wear-part changes, crusher liner changes, pump service.
• Assist with general plant duties: cleaning, washing, sweeping, shoveling; minimize dust via misters.
