Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is seeking a production supervisor to monitor cost, quality, and environmental performance in the plant. You will directly oversee department staff, ensure proper setup and operation of processes, and maintain safety and GMP compliance while coordinating with the Plant Manager and support services.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Dairy Science, Food Science, or related field (preferred).
• Ability to evaluate production and packaging processes for efficiency.
• Ability to lead, influence and motivate people to promote quality, safety, and teamwork.
• Working knowledge of computer programs (e.g., Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain cost, quality, and environment of the department.
• Directly supervise activities of department employees.
• Ensure proper setup and operation of processes, including machinery, computers, and product schedules.
• Support and participate in the plant safety programs with management.
• Complete paperwork such as production/packaging records, sanitation lists, schedules, and incident reports.
