Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Supervisor for the General Plant Production in Waddell, AZ. The role oversees the plant production function, emphasizes safety, quality, and process discipline, and leads subordinates across multiple teams in a high‑speed manufacturing environment.

The position requires strong supervisory experience, ability to coordinate Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Chemical processing teams, and commitment to Ball Packaging Operations standards.

Qualifications

• Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or work-related experience in the can or end making process.
• Job related experience for 2 year(s) minimum
• Experience leading large teams in high speed-manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
• Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple functions, including but not limited to: Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Chemical processing/support teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the plant production function as directed.
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment; conducts safety meetings and inspections, and investigates accidents.
• Supports development, implementation, and improvement of the food safety system and quality standards.
• Acts as plant facilitator during designated periods and provides supervision of subordinates.
• Maintains production, spoilage, and maintenance records and manages attendance and evaluations.
• Schedules vacations, overtime, holidays, and job assignments; communicates between shifts.
