Job summary

Qualifications

• Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or education or work-related experience.
• Job related experience for 5 year(s) minimum.
• Ability to apply intensive and diversified evaluation and modification of standard plant production and warehouse techniques.
• Ability to negotiate with contractors for facilities/building maintenance.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, geometric, and algebraic calculations.
• Must be able to handle sensitive related and proprietary information in a confidential manner.
• Maintains awareness of hazardous waste management and environmental requirements in the workplace.
• Ability to operate and use a computer.
• Performs assignments as directed by management.
• Must follow company policies and standards of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and drive plant process optimization for the assigned area.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment and participate in safety meetings.
• Support development and improvement of the food safety system.
• Ensure round-the-clock efficient operations for the process area.
• Manage resources and activities for the assigned area and supervise staff.
• Establish maintenance procedures, budgeting, execution, and review.
• Plan and manage budgets for the process area.
• Analyze systems and processes and recommend improvements.
• Diagnose problems and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to design and oversight of new systems to improve safety and productivity.
• Collect and organize data for reports and schedules related to the area.
• Coordinate maintenance and reduction of repair costs.
