Qualifications

• Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or work-related experience in the can or end making process.
• Job related experience for 2 year(s) minimum.
• Ability to operate and functionally use a computer.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the plant production function as directed.
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment, conducts safety meetings and inspections, and investigates accidents as required.
• Supports development and maintenance of the food safety system and quality standards.
• Facilitates plant operations during designated periods and manages production personnel performance and development.
• Schedules vacations, overtime, and job assignments; communicates with crew operations.
