Job summary

Ball Corporation in Glendale, AZ seeks a Manager, Plant Production to lead a 24/7 operation, supervise plant personnel, and partner with all departments to sustain safety, quality, and efficiency.

This role requires strong safety program ownership, process improvements, and the ability to manage union relations where applicable. On-site position with relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in high-speed manufacturing, including 4+ years in a leadership or supervisory role within an industrial environment.
• Previous experience in a high volume manufacturing or 24/7 manufacturing setting preferred.
• Can manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure work environment; lead monthly safety meetings and inspections.
• Support development, maintenance, and improvement of the food safety system.
• Provide overall safety performance leadership for the production department.
• Maintain process quality in line with Ball Packaging Operations standards.
• Direct and coordinate production activities; drive safety, quality, and cost-reduction programs.
