Job summary

The Crown Holdings, Inc. Hanover facility is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a production team on a rotating 12-hour shift (5pm–5am). The plant operates across 7 shifts and requires strong leadership to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.

You will supervise equipment and staff, coordinate cross-department communication, and drive process improvements using Lean/Six Sigma principles as applicable, while upholding company safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED required.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
• 5–7 years experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Shift: Rotating 4 on, 4 off; 5pm–5am; overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities of equipment and workforce to optimize safety, quality, productivity, spoilage and engagement.
• Communicate changes in equipment, production schedules and problems between departments and shifts.
• Coach, train and perform performance management of employees as needed.
• Apply knowledge of processes to improve plant production and product quality.
• Manage machine setup, adjust operations, and inspect products for standards compliance.
• Oversee quality improvements and modifications to achieve optimal performance.
