Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. seeks a Plant Operator at Plant 37 in Hanover, PA to run the washer/wash coat, manage the water treatment system, and ensure quality. This 12-hour rotating shift requires attention to gauges, chemical handling, and safe operation of pumps and related systems.

The role offers a base rate of $30.88 per hour with a $2 night differential, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and a company 401(k) plan. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

Understand statistics and quality specifications.
Ability to read and interpret monitoring gauges and controllers.
Understand chemical handling procedures, including use of SDS, PPE, storage and disposal requirements.
Basic knowledge of pumps and operations of fluid handling systems.
Basic mechanical and computer skills.
Basic math calculation abilities.
Able to work alternate work schedules including overtime, voluntary and mandatory, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the washer/wash coat system.
Operate and maintain coolant filtration system.
Monitor and operate wastewater treatment system.
Perform process quality checks, standardize and maintain lab equipment and instruments.
Prepare manifests for non-hazardous solid waste removal.
Monitor and operate deionized water system and reverse osmosis system.
Communicate maintenance needs to applicable leadership team member, Manufacturing Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager.
