Job summary

You will coordinate safety, quality, productivity, and downtime, train staff on the job, manage machine setup, and ensure production standards are met. The role requires 5-7 years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, and strong problem solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in manufacturing with at least 3 years in a supervisory/manager role
• Bachelor level degree; engineering or related discipline; co-op/internship in manufacturing
• Strong problem solving, leadership, and communication skills
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge a plus
• Willingness to travel and relocate as opportunities arise
• Capacity to work across shifts and manage multiple departments

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise equipment and personnel to optimize safety, quality, productivity, and spoilage.
• May change shifts and plant departments to cover absences or provide additional support.
• Apply knowledge of processes and production methods to improve performance.
• Manage machinery setup and inspection to ensure standards.
• Oversee quality and modify production standards for optimal results.
• Communicate changes to equipment, schedules, and problems between shifts.
