OC2 Occidental Chemical Corporation is seeking an experienced Production Superintendent for the Battleground Plant in La Porte, TX. The role leads Process Supervisors and production staff to achieve safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.

You will develop operating plans, coordinate with Maintenance, Safety, and Engineering, and drive continuous improvement across production areas. Strong leadership and process safety expertise are essential.

Formación

• B.S. degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical) with a minimum of five years plant process experience.
• High proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Must be able to respond to off hour emergencies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 lbs, climbing ladders, wearing PPE and respirator, and responding to alarms.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee safe, reliable, efficient and compliant plant performance across production areas.
• Lead Process Supervisors, Shift Supervisors and designated production support personnel.
• Embed Process Safety and Risk Management principles in operations.
• Develop and execute operating plans including chlorine and caustic production schedules.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and other departments to meet plant goals.
• Provide direction to supervisors and review operating parameters.
• Support shutdown planning and capital projects.
• Coach and develop production staff and ensure qualification programs.
