Occidental Chemical Corporation seeks a PSM Engineer at the Battleground Plant in LaPorte, TX to lead process safety programs. You will develop plans, implement controls, and report progress to management, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, 5–10 years of plant experience, and strong knowledge of OSHA, RMP, and RC standards. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering; other disciplines considered with relevant experience.
• 5-10 years of plant process, maintenance, or project engineering experience.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, RMP, Responsible Care, and company process safety standards.
• Ability to wear PPE and respond to alarms; physical requirements included.

Mansioni

• Maintain and improve PSM, RMP, and Responsible Care programs.
• Develop, issue, and track annual PSM/RMP/RC activity plans.
• Provide ongoing reporting of program status to plant management and corporate.
• Coordinate HES Risk Engineering and Insurance Department activities.
• Advise on electrical systems and mechanical integrity as needed.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and company policies.
