The Judge Group in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking an experienced Production Planner to oversee production scheduling and planning in a manufacturing environment. You will coordinate schedules, ensure material availability, and optimize plant capacity to support on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production planning, proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Excel, and a degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production planning or related field.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Manufacturing experience; precast concrete experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer and operational requirements.
• Coordinate production priorities based on capacity, labor, materials, and delivery commitments.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address changing priorities.
• Ensure materials, documentation, and resources are available to support manufacturing activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and Plant Leadership to support production goals.
• Procure project-specific materials and coordinate with suppliers to support production schedules.
• Identify and resolve production constraints and scheduling challenges.
• Analyze production performance and recommend process improvements.
• Support inventory management, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate schedule updates, risks, and production priorities to key stakeholders.
