Job summary

EKHO Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) seeks a Plant Production Planner in King George, VA to own the plant production planning and scheduling, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal capacity. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, verify readiness, and drive improvements across planning processes and materials readiness.

You will bring 5+ years in manufacturing operations, strong ERP/MRP experience, and a track record in Lean or Six Sigma continuous improvement to support manufacturing

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering Tech, Supply Chain, Business or related field; equivalent manufacturing experience considered.
• 5+ years in manufacturing operations, production planning, scheduling or related environment.
• Ability to independently manage production schedules in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong understanding of planning, capacity, inventory control, and workflows.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, production scheduling and inventory systems.
• Ability to read production drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of precast concrete manufacturing is preferred.
• Continuous improvement experience (Lean/Six Sigma) preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Owns plant production planning and scheduling to align with commitments and capacity.
• Establish production priorities considering labor, equipment, materials, quality, and delivery.
• Make day-to-day decisions on schedules, resources, and workflow adjustments.
• Lead planning and backlog review meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Verify readiness: drawings, approvals, materials, tooling, labor, and documentation.
• Identify constraints and risks; escalate as needed.
• Procure project materials; coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and adjust schedules to optimize capacity and meet commitments.
• Communicate priorities, changes, risks, and recovery plans to leadership.
