Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Production Manager to lead the plant production function, driving safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Minimum four years in manufacturing/production operations.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality standards.
• Experience in a unionized environment, where applicable.
• Ability to lead teams and build relationships across all levels.
• Proficiency with computer systems and production-related reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations to support plant performance objectives.
• Promote and maintain a safe and secure work environment, addressing unsafe conditions and leading safety activities.
• Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of food safety systems and production processes.
• Ensure production quality meets established process and quality standards.
• Lead initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction improvements.
• Support developmental and experimental production activities as needed.
• Maintain positive employee and labor relations and foster a climate of trust and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, environmental requirements, and company policies.
• Utilize systems and technology to access, manage, and report production-related information.
• Collaborate across departments to achieve plant, division, and company objectives.
