Job summary

Standard Construction Co. is hiring a Production Manager to lead plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing and on-time shipping of products.

You will partner with operations, quality, and marketing to meet demand and drive continuous improvement within a 24/7 production environment. The role requires 3–5 years in a related leadership capacity, lean tooling experience, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Qualifications

• Metrics-driven planning and results delivery.
• Lean tools knowledge including 5S, visual management, preventive maintenance, and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Maximo, and Outlook.
• 10% travel required.
• 3–5 years in a functional leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of production, including SOPs, staff training, and implementation of operations systems.
• Direct production teams in safety, quality, schedule adherence, labor efficiency, waste, maintenance, and cost.
• Optimize processes to improve plant efficiencies and develop KPIs linking to performance.
• Collaborate with QC to ensure product quality meets customer/industry standards.
• Provide leadership and staffing planning, coaching, and performance management.
