Job summary

Lhoist North America seeks a Production Manager to oversee day-to-day plant operations under the Plant Manager, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost controls. You will lead a team across production, maintenance, mining, and quality, aligning with strategic goals and company vision.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in heavy manufacturing, and a track record of optimizing plant performance while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Finance.
• 5–7 years of leadership in heavy manufacturing, cement, mining, or related industries.
• Experience with safety programs and Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient, and economical operation of the plant.
• Manage plant output to maximize reserves and asset utilization.
• Set targets and oversee KPI performance across mining, production, maintenance, quality, and cost.
• Develop and implement strategic plans; review results monthly and annually.
• Lead plant communications and collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure product and process quality meet customer requirements.
