Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking an entry-level Operational Excellence Specialist to learn the can making process and support plant operations on-site. You will drive standardization and lean improvements across shifts, working under the Regional Operational Excellence Manager, with a two-year development plan that can lead to a Plant Supervisor role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Science, Supply Chain or equivalent work-related experience
• Job related experience in process improvement or project management; manufacturing experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate/lead plant standardization of the management system with employees at all levels
• Lead improvement teams and projects aligned with plant priorities
• Collaborate on process analysis and performance reporting for client needs
• Learn and apply Lean tools (DMAIC, PDCA, root cause analysis, FMEA)
• Support development and training of standardized work
• Promote best practices to eliminate waste and improve performance
• Present, educate, train and facilitate at all levels and to external audiences
