Job summary

Ball Corporation in Williamsburg, VA is hiring a Superintendent, Plant Process (Chemical) to lead process optimization, safety, and reliability for the assigned area, guiding a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will supervise process personnel, manage budgets and maintenance plans, drive improvement projects, ensure regulatory and environmental compliance, and partner with quality, safety, and operations to boost safety, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or education or work-related experience.
• Job related experience for 5 year(s) minimum.
• Ability to apply intensive and diversified evaluation and modification of plant production techniques.
• Ability to negotiate with contractors for facilities/building maintenance.
• Must follow company policies and maintain professional competence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and drive process optimization for the assigned area.
