Job summary

RRD in Minnesota seeks a Plant President to lead strategic planning and execution for people, processes, technology and culture across the site. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and a robust sales pipeline while guiding P&L and budgets.

You will develop leaders, establish succession plans, and ensure regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration with corporate teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of diversified management in printing or manufacturing.
• Experience leading sales teams is highly desired.
• Continuous Improvement/Lean experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a diverse team of sales and operations.
• Excellent communication with internal and external teams.
• Ability to lead through empathy.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant to improve sales pipeline, safety, quality, productivity, and reduce waste.
• Own P&L for assigned locations and manage budgets.
• Develop employees through leadership, education and training.
• Establish and maintain succession plan for key personnel.
• Guide managers on ongoing operations improvement.
• Lead Sales team strategy and cadence for prospects/clients.
• Collaborate with Sales Reps to acquire new customers.
• Review manufacturing activities and drive problem resolution.
• Maintain communication with plant and Corporate Staff on safety, quality, productivity.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, EEO and regulations.
• Provide performance reports to Corporate Staff.
• Make recommendations on hires, promotions, transfers, training.
• Motivate staff to meet production goals with timely schedules.
• Commit to continual process improvement to exceed customer expectations.
• Perform other related duties as required.
