Job summary

RRD is seeking a Plant Manager to lead assigned manufacturing locations, driving safety, quality, productivity and cost control. You will manage P&L, budgets, and capital planning while guiding department managers in continual improvement initiatives and strong leadership practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of diversified management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in printing, labels, or packaging is preferred.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant(s) to improve safety, quality, productivity and reduce waste.
• P&L responsibility for assigned locations, including budgets.
• Provide guidance to managers on continual improvement of operations.
• Ensure customer expectations are exceeded through process improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales to maintain and acquire customers.
• Review manufacturing activity and report performance to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
• Provide plant performance reports to Corporate Staff.
• Maintain open communication with employees and corporate teams.
• Make hiring and promotion recommendations for plant personnel.
• Develop staff through education and training programs.
• Motivate staff to meet production goals with effective schedules.
