Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons in Minnesota seeks a Plant President to lead plans for improving people, processes, technology and culture. You will monitor safety, equipment performance and budgets, and work with site leaders to execute strategic goals.

The role requires 8+ years of diversified management experience in manufacturing, with Lean/CI skills and experience leading sales teams. On-site position with potential for bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of diversified management experience within printing or manufacturing.
• Experience leading sales teams is highly desired.
• Lean / continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a diverse team of sales and operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant to improve the sales pipeline, safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
• Manage P&L for assigned locations, including budgets.
• Develop and train employees to achieve performance goals.
• Establish and maintain a succession plan for critical roles.
• Provide guidance to department managers on operations improvement.
• Lead local plant sales team with strategic and tactical insights.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives to acquire new customers.
• Review manufacturing activities and drive action to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Report plant performance to Corporate Staff and stakeholders.
• Recommend hiring, promotion, transfers, and merit increases.
• Motivate staff to meet production schedules and plant goals.
• Drive continual process improvements to exceed customer expectations.
