Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is seeking an experienced Manager, People & Culture to partner with plant leadership at our Richmond facility. You will guide talent development, employee relations, performance management, and compensation, while driving a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

You will lead workforce planning, manage HR programs, and ensure regulatory compliance across the site, partnering with Corporate HR and Legal as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong employee relations experience, investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
• Experience supporting talent development, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships across all levels of an organization.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, project management, and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to support operational needs outside traditional business hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic HR partner for the Richmond facility.
• Lead workforce planning, recruiting, and retention initiatives with plant leadership.
• Ensure effective administration of HR programs and processes across the site.
• Foster a positive employee relations environment through proactive coaching, conflict resolution, and issue management.
• Partner with leaders to address employee concerns and maintain an inclusive workplace.
• Lead organizational engagement initiatives, including surveys and action planning.
• Facilitate leadership development, learning programs, and training workshops.
• Drive succession planning and development plans for high-potential talent.
• Act as change agent to navigate organizational change.
• Oversee performance and compensation programs, wage surveys, and salary ranges.
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and safety culture.
