Job summary

CRH is seeking a Plant Operator to safely run and monitor plant equipment, conduct site work, and ensure compliance with procedures. The role includes loading fly ash, testing materials, and maintaining accurate records, with a focus on efficiency and safety.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, good communication, and a willingness to work rotating shifts. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capacity to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits to help create a zero-injury safety culture.
• Attend regular safety meetings and follow all safety guidelines.
• Maintain communication with utility and monitor fly ash levels in silos.
• Load/unload materials and operate loading equipment as required on site.
• Test materials, perform required tests, and document results accurately.
• Record data, generate tickets for billing, and assist with maintenance tasks.
