Job summary

CRH is seeking a Plant Operator in Orlando, FL to safely run plant equipment and support site operations. You will oversee loading/unloading fly ash, monitor inventories, perform testing, inspections, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year of related experience, and strong communication skills. The role requires physical effort, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime at our CRH

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant training.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Strong verbal communication skills for reporting issues.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits to maintain a zero-injury safety culture.
• Monitor fly ash levels in silos and place orders as needed.
• Load and unload materials and operate loading equipment.
• Test material samples and record data.
• Perform routine inspections and follow safety regulations.
• Maintain equipment and assist with maintenance tasks.
