Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, seeks an operator to safely run plant equipment and perform site work according to company procedures. Responsibilities include loading/unloading fly ash, testing materials, inspecting equipment, and ensuring safety compliance to meet operational targets.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year of relevant experience, and strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Overtime and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
• Strong verbal communication skills for conveying instructions, reporting issues, and collaboration.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Capacity to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits to foster a zero-injury safety culture.
• Attend safety meetings and follow guidelines.
• Maintain communication with utility and monitor fly ash levels.
• Test material, sample loads, and perform required tests.
• Load and unload fly ash from silos and trucks/rail cars.
• Weigh trucks/rail cars and create billing tickets.
• Operate loading equipment and production start-up/shutdown.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs as directed.
• Record paperwork and reports; ensure timeliness and productivity.
