Job summary

Central Stone Company is seeking a full-time Plant Operator/Maintenance role with travel to locations in Illinois within 40 miles of Quincy. Join a long-established, Midwest-focused producer of limestone aggregate products used in homes, roads, and bridges.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA
• Operate and monitor all equipment and production area safely and efficiently
• Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed
• Communicate with plant management on safety, maintenance, and production needs
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Central Stone Company has a full-time, day shift position available as a Plant Operator/Maintenance. This position requires travel to locations in Illinois within a 40 mile radius of Quincy, IL. At current posting, we are crushing in the Chambersburg, IL area. Travel compensation is provided, as well as a competitive wage and benefits package. Plant Operator/Maintenance Candidate Requirements:

• Our ideal candidate would possess proven mechanical skills, welding, and experience operating heavy equipment.

Major Plant Operator/Maintenance responsibilities include:

• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA
